Pretty straightforward really, though note these rules are subject to change. If you have any questions or comments or suggestions or anything, PM me or post them on the 'Speak Up!' board. Anyway, I know reading over rules is no fun so I'll try to keep this short for you all.
* No God-Moding. I.e. don't say someone else's character did something or thought something.
* If there's going to be a fight, be sure the other person/people are okay with it first.
* Don't decide the fate of your own attacks. That is, you can't say if it hits the other person or not; let them decide on that one.
* Only the Avatar (after proper time and training) can bend more than one element.
* No character (excluding the Avatar, after proper time and training) can bend an element of any nation other than their own. For example, someone born of Earth Kingdom decent cannot bend fire; their only choice is earth.
* There is no limit on how long posts have to be. This site has no set skill level and everyone is welcome. However, try to stay away from anything shorter than two paragraphs when possible. I won't get on your case if one decent-size paragraph is all you can think of (happens to all of us sometimes), but that shouldn't be the norm.
* Respect everyone else on the site. We're here to have fun.
* If you know you're going to be gone for 2+ weeks, let us know by posting (with a reason) in the Absence Notices board.
~ If you fail to log on in two weeks without notification, you will be sent an email warning you of this. Past that point, you have one more week to log on before your character and account are deleted and you will have to reapply. I will be cleaning up the site of abandoned threads and characters at the end of each month.
* Signatures can be no larger than 500x300 pixels and should not exceed 250 KB. (And though I'm not sure proboards ever states it, the accepted normal size for avatars is 100x100
